Variable Cost Options
- Other presentation options (besides the one noted above) are available. I can do everything from inexpensive (but nice) leatherette boxes to glass and wood display cases with drawers.
- I can do "glue-up" blanks - these could range anywhere from a single accent stripe to "patchwork" blocks of a variety of different woods in a "crazy-quilt" look. Contact me for a quote.
- Exotic woods are typically imported from Australia, South America, Africa, and elsewhere. If you want multiple pieces out of the same wood, I might be able to get a break on the material price. Contact me (see below) for a quote.
- If you've got something different in mind for clips or bands, please let me know - I can get some rather unique clips (fishing poles, baseball bats, tennis racquets), and some bands with artwork on them. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll work up a quote.
- Desk sets and stands are available, as are other presentation options.
- Packaging ranges from a plastic tube (standard on slimline) or clear-top box (standard on other models) to display cases designed to show off the pens.
- Other desk accessories are available - letter openers, magnifying glasses, and penlights.
- Yes, I can do spinning tops, wine (and other bottle) stoppers, corkscrews, and even
yo-yos.
Packaging And Carrying Options
All pens come with a card telling you (or the recipient) a bit about the
woods used, the type of refill needed, and so forth.
Slimline pens and pencils will be shipped in clear square-plastic
tubes. Cigar and larger pens will be shipped in plastic gift boxes - a
cardboard sleeve protects the clear-plastic top, and the pen rests on a piece of
gray felt inside.
There are other options;
- Plastic pen "boat" with clear top, $5
- Black Velour covered box with gold trim, black velour and white satin
lining, which holds up to two pens, $5
- Black leatherette box with gray suede-like lining which holds up to two
pens, $8
- Leather pencil pouch for one or two pens, closing completely over the
pen/pencil, $10 (available in tan, brown, and black)
- Rosewood, Walnut, or Maple boxes for one or two pens (indicate wood and
number preference, please), $10.

Shipping
Shipping options are fairly straight-forward.
If you're within 50 miles of Burnsville, I'll hand-deliver the pen(s) to you for
a $25 fee. No shipping to worry about, because I'll take care of them as
well as you would.
Beyond that, I normally ship using US Postal Service Priority mail. I charge $5 to cover the packaging and shipping.
